I saw it at WalMart B&M, for 64.99 but couldn't find it at their online store. I started then looking around on the web and didn't find anything that could beat that, although I didn't look that hard. Know of anywhere to get it cheaper? My little cousin has been wanting one, maybe I can spring one for an early birthday or something for him... (after I play a few games of Wave Race :)

Alright, here's the situation. If you need a game system for the summer, the N64 for $64 is an extremely good deal. But once the Fall runs around, you'll be able to get the N64 for $30.. Because the GameCube will be Nintendo's money maker console on the market.. Also look to see GameBoy Color/Pocket's prices to go down in price because of the GameBoy Advance.
If you need/want the N64 right now, buy it, it's a great deal. However, the deals will get even better in the near future.

I wouldn't pay 64 bucks for an N64. I would rather buy a Dreamcast if I didn't already have one. I brought it the day it dropped to 99 bucks. N64 uses cartridges which you can't download. Dreamcast is the best value out there. better graphics than n64. Not only can you burn DC games, the DC can also be a VCD player. It also can run old NES Genesis emulation games. Add extra controller and memory card, the price is like $140 for which I download 82 Dreamcast games and burned them to CD. Its like paying 2 bucks a game. Not that bad, and with the issue of piracy, i'm going to throw the whole thing away in 2-3 years anyways.

i would agree with the other guy, Ninteno GameCube is coming soon, so n64 will become even more obsolete and cheap.

Not Judging, just an interesting rationalization.
