use http://www.kazaa.com it's like napster but better cause you can download videos and stuff....... or you can use winmx(not sure what the web address is though, just search for it.)

Being a prior Napster user (along with everyone else on the net) it was a long and drawn out search trying to find something comprable. Alas, I believe I have found some answers. One of the first things I attempted to do was just replace Napster with a similar program. I tried a lot of crap and loaded up my system and fragmented my drive to hell, but when all the smoke cleared there was only one victor. The program is called Limewire. I love it. It searches on the gnutella network which is basically peer to peer from what I understand. There is no central hub like Napster, so no irritated bands or companies can shut it down. There are other programs like BearShare out there, but I do not recommend them. In my experience Limewire connects the fastest and produces the best and most results. THIS IS ONLY MY EXPERIENCE, SO DON'T CASTRATE ME IF YOU FIND THIS OBJECTIONAL!
