I have come to the conclusion that right now everything in the world sucks! Seriously! I have just about had it. I go out to run to the store, should be a normal 5 minute trip at maximum. BUT, first I get behind a corpse that is driving a car. THe damn person has their nice new Audi A6, so what do they do, drive at like 5 mph under the speed limit, and then everytime I try to pass them, they speed up so i cant get back over. If it wasnt illegal I would have run them over! Oh, how I wish I could just dispose of all the idiots in the world. It would make me so happy.

Then tonight we go to Claim Jumpers for dinner. I am pleasantly surprised that we have NO wait for a table, because all of the local high schools held their graduation ceremonies tonight. So we sit down, with the rest of the restaurant packed, and the service is a little slower than I would like, but as I am generally an easy going guy, I wasnt worried about it. The waiter came and took the order, and got us our drinks in a timely manner. The appetizer came out, and it was ok, a bit cooler than it should have been, but once again, no biggy. So the waiter comes along, brings some clam chowder for my fiance and clears off the appetizer plate and says that my salad should be out momentarily - once again, not that big a deal, its only been 20 minutes since we ordered our food. Well about 15 minutes later the waiter comes by and looks and says "You got your salad, right?" I look at him, point to the bare spot that has been adorning the table so long that its collected a nice layer of dust, and say, does it look like I have gotten my salad. So another 5 minutes or so passes and the salad comes out, has hardly a lick of dressing, and looks like something that a rabbit would reject. Time - 40 minutes since we ordered our food. Well the waiter once again comes and gets the plates, and says our food should be out momentarily... Apparently, he needs to learn the definition of momentarily, as it took another 20 minutes to get the food even out, and then my steak is partially burned, is overcooked, and is cold. The sauce for my potato has congealed into a solid. All this crap came with a $60 (pre tip) price tag. Definitely wasnt worth it.

Now to top matters, I cant get any reasonable prices for air fare to Florida right now. I have been attempting to book the tickets for a few weeks, but have been procrastinating due to studying for the bar, and the fact that my fiance keeps wanting to wait till we book the cruise. (Not that its her fault) But suffice it to say, I cant get shit in terms of good prices.

Well enough venting on my part. As i said, everything sucks.

and your DINNER SUCKED?? so? why didn't you complain to the mananger? your probably would have gotten it for free, or at least go a coupon for the next time. silly silly man.

as for the tickets to florida, don't say that the world sucks cause you are a PROCRASTINATOR!!

ok, now that i'm done being mean, i'm sure your fury will calm a bit very soon. just take a few deep breaths.

and think about the people here who really have problems... like the fact that many of us are unemployed, and NOT going to florida this year :)

Well now that you mention it, I guess I should have highlighted the fact that I am studying for the California bar in July. So not only am I unemployed, but I have spent over $5000 just to take a test, which has the lowest pass rate in the country. My loans have gone into their 6 month deferment, which includes the 3 months studying for the bar, so that means I have 3 months to get a job, buy 8 more suits, find a new place to live, and then start paying $1000/mo minimum to repay my loans. So when I had all of that shit happen when I was taking a freaking break from studying it just kinda makes you mad.

Remember it could ALWAYS be worse, you could be dead.

If you feel you are receiving bad service at a restraunt, just ask to speak to the manager.
When they set down that plate in front of you you should have asked for them right away.
Not only did they fail to satisfy you as a customer, they wasted an hour of your time. Remember that 4/5ths of your bill is for services rendered, the other 1/5th is for the actual food. If the manager does not satisfy you, get his name and tell him you will be contacting their corperate headquarters. Tell the corperate headquarters that their service and quality compares unfavorably to Denny's. If the corperate headquarters does not satisfy you, call the BBB.

As for the Audi, I would hope you would support my campaign to require forward firing machine guns on all american made cars.
