Hey. Whats Up... (Well me, imsomnia sucks).
This is a variation, you have seen of this type of deal.
Supposedly free sunglasses, for the Shipping & Handling Fee of $8.95. But This looks like a whole new line up of better looking sunglasses, actually, these styles and construction look pretty decent, higher quality than your average Venice Boardwalk and SwapMeet styles. I think you have to do a short survey too, but I couldn't investigate completely because Calif. residents are not allowed to take this offer (?)

oh yeah this company is full of geniuses. don't sell their glasses to perpetually sunny California. Their product is probaly just as good as their business sense. :eek3:

Has anyone actually done this? I'm just wondering what kind of quality they are and if in fact they actually are mailed out to you. although generally i think you get what you pay for ....

I got a pair. But I don't think the quality is all that great.
I ended up spending $75 on some Oakley Fives to better protect me eyes.

I mean seriously guys, how good do you think these thing are anyway for 9 bucks?
If i need a cheapo pair i go to like canal street in NYC and haggle with some chinese dude and for 5 bucks i get an oakley ripoff with a case :)
But i finally decided to get some real sunglasses and spent 180 on a pair of ray ban's and another pair of carl zeis, and you can totally see the difference.

i think i might just end up shelling out the big bucks. they probably don't protect my eyes the same as good shades, and they don't really have the style i want. so what can you do. Incidently, anyone have any deals on name brand glasses? :-)

Check out REI's closeout (http://www.rei-outlet.com/cgi-bin/rei/searchc.pl?query=oakley&cat=2000001&pix=1) of last year's Oakleys.

i got a nice pair of Nike Sever wrap, black matte frames and very dark (very sharp black, not a brown tint) tint for $80 including a case and a cleaner kit at a "sunglasses hut" in one of our malls. I like them, but my head is a little wide, so i permanently adjusted them to fit me better. (i discretely shaved off some plastic in the hinge area so they would open up a few more MM's)
