Need pager deal

I'm looking for a cheap pager deal (local, numeric only is fine) for a teenager in zip code 85748. I was hoping to find something around $5/month for the service and under $50 for the hardware.

I remember Best Buy, etc. having free pagers after MIR, but I haven't seen these deals lately.

Any suggestions?

Anyone know anything about Uni-Marketing Alliance, Inc. (www.umastore.com) who offer free wireless, paging, etc. with service contract.

The local service rates seem reasonable:
1st year airtime start at $6.95 x 12 months (local) + free voice mail
2nd year airtime drop to $5.95 x 12 months (local) + free voice mail
3rd year airtime drop to $4.95 x 12 months (local) + free voice mail
4th year airtime drop to $3.95 x 12 months (local)
5th year airtime drop to $2.95 x 12 months (local)
6th year and there after: airtime drop to $1.99 x 12 months (local)

for 400 pages/month and a $27.00 one time activation fee.

Is this a good deal? Anyone have experience with any of these pagers? I have no idea, since my work has always provided my pager and service...
