Well, like many others, i'm switching from win98 to 2k. I backed up all primary to secondary HD and formated C:. Then i tried to install win2k. Right before it hits the blue startup screen, there is an error saying "Failed to ArcRead the boot Partition to check for signature." I go the the startup proccess, 4 more I/O errors pop up before it gets to the options screen. I reach the install stage, but then it tries to read the partition and it says it's not partitioned correctly. I tried deleting and creating new one. Didn't work. I went out and reformated again with the 98 bootdisk, and rebooted with the 4 2k isntall bootdisks. The same thing happened, errored and wouldn't go past the delete and create Partition stage. I tried scandisk and all that good stuff. There is 1700k bad sectors of the 4.5 gig. Well after reading all that, you're thinking who cares about a 4.5 gig HD, well, it's an IBM UWS2. Dude, i can't afford another one right now so it's really appreciated if someone could help me save my baby. It's an only 3 1/2 years old. It's still young. Please, i beg of you great minded Apex members, help save my child. *sniff sniff*

forgot to mention, i got raid running on my other HD(40gig ata 100), my mobo is an be6 II2.0.
