View Full Version : Bizarre theory about aliens...

What if aliens were here and we just didn't recognize them. I am not suggesting that they blend in or are 2-legged creatures, rather that they are creatures that we think of as terrestrial but they really aren't.

For example the COELECANTH. It was presumed extinct and then suddenly started to reappear. What if they disappeared because they went back to their home planet? They could have spaceships or other transport and we would never know.

There are plenty of other possibilities too.

I mean, think about it. If apes and dolphins have been around for virtually the same time periods and we claim apes became advanced and evolved into humans, what about dolphins. Are they not even at the tools stage? What if they had advanced technologies that we couldn't even understand??

Maybe this is just too wild, but then again so was the theory of the earth being round and revolving around the sun.

actually the dolphins are aliens...and so are mice.

you think they run in wheels for fun????
they're trying to communicate with us.

BTW the mice paid for our planet to be built.

No no no, not the mice - have you learned nothing? It was the Preservers.

What if the aliens mixed their DNA with the apes, and that's why the apes evolved and the dolphins knew better.

Well that would suggest that the "alien DNA" was similar to an ape.

If the alien was a water animal, it's DNA wouldn't really combine well. If it was a creature of a completely different physiology (ex. a pteradactyl) then it wouldn't combine either.

Also, the theory in Jurassic Park II (at least in the book) was that environment and other non-DNA factors played an important part in development. How could they control that?
"The Boys From Brazil" seemed to propound the same theory but on a much smaller scale genetically.

There was an episode of the X-Files that suggested that alien creatures/probes would come as cockroaches (or similar insects) as they were extremely hardy and could blend in and gather intelligence without causing a major ruckus.

I've always liked the theory that we are the aliens. That aliens as we know them now, are really us from the future on field trips back in time. Just like we have Kathy Lee and cruises today, in the future, we take trips back in time to see events happen or just stroll around.

Could you imagine HISTORY class?

what if its like Dark City? We are just in a constant dream state, being harvested for food for aliens?

how do we know how well dna would splice? i mean, the aliens are prolly way ahead of us on this. and i hope they show us soon.

consider this: http://www.theonion.com/onion3630/dolphins_evolve_thumbs.html

the dolphins already have opposable thumbs. it is only a matter of time before they show us the door.
