Computer is freezing up and doing a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!.
It does an endless beep, and locks up completely. It's done it while I play games, or sometimes while playing mp3s. You guys think this is a soundcard issue??

Try this first:
Check all connections make sure you have everything plugged in good and that you don’t have your monitor sitting on your Keyboard cable.
Next try:
This may sound dumb ... but it may be sticky keys. Try cleaning your keyboard. Turn the KB upside down and bang it gently on your desk a couple of time and see if a bunch of crud falls out...
if that dont work:
Have you installed any new hardware lately???? You may want to Control Panel > System > Device manager and see if windows has any hardware conflicts ... i am assuming windows cause well it is locking up and we all know Microsoft messes everything up.....
Maybe one of those will help .... L8r, Gary
Could also be that your CPU is overheating.

You must perform the anti beep dance, if that doesn't work.
Start off with checking your bios, make sure all the settings are ok. Then make sure your HSF is plugged in (overheating might be the cause, but it's usually accompanied with a BlueScreen of Death). Then run around your computer 3 times. Afterward check to make sure no electrical cables are shorting. (case edges are sharp and sometimes cut into the cables) Man... I hope you figure it out. Oh yeah try upgrading your BIOS, this could be the final solution you need.

Damm that might actually be a keyboard. Try this when it happens physically raise the keyboard off the desk 6 inches and drop it flat--no joke really try that.
I have also seen a system do that when the memory was seated tight or the video card wasn't seated tight.

Damn I didn't think of that
but that could be the solution
See if there is anything pushing the keys on your keyboard, then try other keyboards out.
My room mate's computer would do that all the time when he left a book on top of his keyboard and tried to restart his comp
