View Full Version : What's my default FSB?

I just got a new 1.2Ghz T-Bird from my supplier, although I wanted a 266 FSB chip, they only had 200FSB chips, but yesterday I was informed that it is a 266 FSB chip. I'm not sure.
How can I check without actually trying to run it at 266?

Look on the surface of the chip...
the printing on the chip will tell you if it is a 200 or a 266.
The first row of numbers and letters, what you are looking for is the last letter in the first row. If it is a B then it is a 100/200 if it is a C the it's a 133/266 variant.
Hope this helps!
