Mezpin and I took a metal pipe hat we found on the ground to an old HP monitor and it was QUITE satisfying. I also put a few dozen monitors and old computers and printers into a crushing machine and the screams and sounds were capable of making hair stand on end and eyes glaze over in a demonic gaze.
This guy is definitely not physics educated though... I would like to submit the following evidence to the jury:
"Product warranty is void if the cover of the drive is removed or if the force on the drive exceeds 7 Gs. (Or something like that.)"
and as we all know...Gauss is a measure of magnetic field strength...
