First, this is completely sick. Second, the domain is owned by:

Chang, Dr. Michael Wong
[email protected]
826 Schermerhorn
New York, NY 10027
US
212-662-7544

This kind of thing is not allowed by US law. I have to believe that if this were practiced on US soil that the perps would be prosecuted for animal cruelty. Notice that NO OTHER animals are pictured, like dogs or ferrets or rats or others. Dr. Michael Wong Chang is clearly a cat hater.

I for one, possibly for my own comfort level, will REFUSE to believe that this is real until I see IN PERSON a LIVE (note the use of the word LIVE, as in ALIVE) animal that has been subject to such torture. K?

i'm never one to turn my back on a good joke.

but this.. this is just wrong. there are idiots out there (http://searchrequests.weblogs.com/) that are gonna see it (assuming it is just a joke) and think they can fuckin do it, and superglue their cat's ass shut.

christ, i've never felt so repulsed.

Nah, its real... I got my Bonsai Kitty in the mail the other day. I can break the glass after it hits 1 year of age, and by then everything should have set. Its really cool looking too! Oh baby! No more allergies. What they dont tell you is that the cats get bagged, not super glued shut...and then you have to dispose of the bags two - three times a day. Gets kinda messy.

Sorry, I couldnt resist. The pictures are really messed up, however, if you notice the one cat seems to be sucking on the straw as though it has water or milk coming out of it. Additionally, all the containers are large enough for the cat to fit in and out of with relative ease. The sick person who did this probably but some catnip or something in the corner to get the cat to go into the mason jars. And if it is really real, then I suggest someone should bonsai the guy who does this.

I thought we talked about this in a previous thread. The pics are bullshit, made by some students or something like that. Can anyone back me up on this one?

It's just a dumb joke I always thought.

I also assume no one actually read the site...

if you did, you'd notice there is no way to order one...and it claims that by sealing up the anus and attaching a tube to the stomach...a new anus will form around it!

havn't any of you taken basic biology??????????????

Seriously. No one seems to be able to take a joke anymore. If it were real, you'd think they'd show some finished product to attract people to buy! They just push the kitties face up to the side of the jar and snap a photo or two. C'mon, don't be so gullible and easily offended! This is the net, for Chrissakes!

it's not very funny. i may not be easily offended...but that doesnt mean that i will tell others how much to be or not be offended. that is ridiculous.

just post this next to the simulated child porn jokes and the simulated dead baby jokes. we gotta draw the line somewhere. i'm with ironchef (et al) on this. ppl will see it, think it's real, and try it. i have read in the news about abuse along the lines of children supergluing kitty eyes shut. not funny...not funny...not funny....

We don't have to draw the line anywhere. Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words shall never hurt me.

If someone tried to hurt my pouch I would have to take matters into my own hands. Or even if I seen someone pull something like this on any animal I would have to whip out a bottle of whoop axx. Seeing I am 6' tall and go about 230 lbs I think I could inflict some pain. Joke or not the mere thought of subjecting an animal to this is sick.

we really, really do have to draw the line somewhere. that is true for many things. saying that we don't have to draw the line anywhere is....um......anarchy?

i can tell you that there are people that surf the net that will think this is real and they may even think it is a good idea. i worked with adults that have developmental disabilities for years. some of them live on their own. some of them may be compelled to try something like this...since it is presented in this fashion. they use "logic" and "reason" that some may actually follow. there are also people with mental illness that don't need to be given such ideas.

And what's your problem with that?

So we should censor the net to protect people from themselves!? Tell me, what else needs to be censored? Perhaps you should be in charge of deciding, huh? God, I thought we as a people had gotten past this point. Lets water down everything in our society to the level of our lowest and most fragile, weak components. This sounds like a classic argument for communism to me.

ok, i'll bite.

first off....communism is a damned fine idea. socialism is what we had the problem with.

second....if you don't understand what i mean, don't put words in my mouth or assume they came from my mind. if you didnt understand it (looks a lot like you didnt), then dont go spreading the crap that you just repeated to me.

ironchef

it ain't about protecting them from themselves. eff them. it's about protecting others from them.

censorship schmensorship. the good "doctor" who owns the site ought to have the sense to realize that there are some jokes best left untold. or at least told in a situation where the audience is known and understood. the net ain't it.

ask any ******, spic, fag or kike what he thinks of words.

words often accompany action.

I beg to disagree.

They actually perform "body modification" on humans as well.

I have known people that this happens to (one example is Jon Benet-Ramsey [Obviously they didn't shape her into a square, but they didn't modify her body])

Think about the rings that certain African women use to make their necks huge or the heavy corsets women in the US used to use to alter their waists.
