What cards, and how much are they, can output DVI and do it in 1280 x 1024, with hardware video acceleration for 3d games?

Please, don't bother with high end Geforce cards, they're too expensive.

Looking for < $150.

i think you are asking for too much
raise your price and look for a Asus v7700 deluxe, maybe a v7100 will do the job

still you should raise your price, 150 is way to low

I have a 3D Prophet DDR-DVI card that I bought well over a year ago. You could probably find one of those for less than $150 now. I think the model may have been discontinued, but I'm sure retailers are still stocking it.

I had a 3d prophet about a year ago and had many problems it untill i got rid of it for a dreamcast! but really tho, the 3d prophet gots sort of bad dvi quality never mind bad tv out quality, and i experienced missing triangles in almost all games on my chipet (440bx)but it was fast as all hell. You might want to try matrox, i know their g450 is ok in 3d games, supports high res and i think has dvi output it didnt say on the wevsite it has dual head like nvidia's twin view technology (copycats!), some of ati's cards also have dvi, and great quality, i love my radeon AIW, dvi output all that good stuff tv tuner but its 300 dollars, i know you want it for under 150 but why buy an old outdated card and sacrafice quality for the sake of a a couple (hundred) bucks, u will be happier in the end

I personally don't like it either, but someone suggested it. I just wanted to help.
I say SCREW Nvidia, go for a Kyro card. Kyro is the revolution man!!!!!! Kyro3 will demolish Nvidia... (man I hope I am right)

Nvidia reminds me too much of Intel with their marketing tactics. Also with their uncanny ability to let everyone in the world know that they are the top of the video chipset world. I am also really looking forward too what Radeon2 will offer. Brute force is such a low tech way of doing things, hopefully Kyro and ATI will lead us toward something better.
