SCSI CD-RW

My friend is looking for a new SCSI CD-RW. He is replacing his Yamaha drive that he doesn't like. Anyone have a suggestion? He's running windows '98.

I have a Plextor 12/4/32 w/out burn proof on a Tekram 390U2W. Works great. 12/10/32S has burn proof.
I think Yamaha has the fast SCSI burner out, 16x no burnproof.
