hmm it might work if you have something solid under the pad.. mouse might not focus on it too well though.

Na.. I'm sure there whould be some sort of glare with any amount of light, or just the feedback from the optics on the mouse. :)

You can also create custom Everglide mouse pads. I love my standard black one, but a Got|Apex model would be very original.
