Its very short (at best 4 hours) and more of the same.
The high definition pack is nice. Other than that there's nothing really new to recommend buying this so-called "expansion pack". It really should have been offered as a free download.
Half Life: Blue Shift is not worth buying unless you don't have the Half Life: Opposing Force expansion pack. The only reason I got Blue Shift was because Best Buy had it on sale for $19.99 and threw in a copy of Gunman Chronicles in the deal.
