Tonight's second installment completely rocked. I loved the first show too last week.

I wanted to comment first on this week's episode , the opening scene where the set-up is two guys performing "surgery" on a woman in a hotel room. They then call and order pizza and let the poor unsuspecting pizza man into their room to take in the gruesome scene. Some of their reactions were funny as shit. BUT, I think they went almost too far for our veiwing pleasure. One guy after actually getting involved in the "surgery" tried to escape and ran out of the room very visably frightened, infact even crying. They should have cut him a fat check for his troubles. It's one thing to have a little fun on someone's account, but damn, I felt sorry for him.

And then, lol, a different delivery boy jumps out a window!! That's right, he actually broke and jumped out a second story window to escape what he thought was a messed up, botched surgery. I guess he thought he may be on the slab next. But he too should get compensated. Having said all that, I love the show, but is there a line to draw on what they'll do to people just for us at home to laugh at? How about a show where we call up parents and tell them their kids have just died in an accident? Funny? What's next?

I love it though, you should all watch it.

I like the fact that Johnny BlueJeans is hosting the show. I've been wondering what the hell he has been up to.

I also thought that surgery bit was a little messed up to. The guy who jumped out the window could have killed himself. But I laughed.

That poor kid at the end was about to start crying too. I thought it was a little sad that he was trying to convince the cop what an idiot he was.

Good stuff

He plays in the NBC show Ed, which I LOVE, too! :)

"I don't know anything about computer chips... I am an IDIOT!"

--- classic quote from a Spy TV victim

It was just ok. The problem is that a lot of these pranks didn't "finish" quite as well. Not sure if you remember "Totally Hidden Video" but I think they had a better success rate and a cleaner presentation

They're trying to copy those edgy japanese TV shows.

At a Haunted House I work at, I tried to copy the Japanese gag of blending into the scenery and then as soon as someone is touching you (everyone touches the walls and the props) or next to you, you make a slight movement and scare them like crazy. The people nearby don't know what happened so you can easily get them too. When you have a particularly good group you sometimes just start chasing them all over the place.

While this is fun for a while, eventually it gets old. I don't think Spy TV has much of a future beyond being an occasional fill-in show (like the Blooper shows have become)

Why did they repeat the first episode last night?
