HELP ME PLEASE!!!

When I try to run any game, like Diablo 2, Red Alert 2, CS or TFC, my comp freezes half way or before it loads some times. I already reformated/fdisked.
It's not heat cuz my CPU is only 105°
It's not installation problem cuz i reinstalled and stuff
It's not patch cuz i red/led it
Wut to do...wut to do? Thanks in advance.

I have an AMD 1.1 ghz
512 ram
Geforce 2
30 gig hd IBM 7200

Can you run anything 3d without it crashing, it could be some sort of video card issue.

I updated the video driver and other stuff like direct X.

Try swapping out some of your memory. See if that lets you at least load the game.

The only other thing to try is the video card. Swap it out if you have a spare.

Make sure you have the correct drivers for the AMD chipset you are using. I've seen problems where a GeForce card had lots of "issues" running with an amd at 1.2 GHz. That person swapped to a Radeon card and had no problems.
