I really need a new video card because my STB nvidia 8mb video card i have now doesn't play any of my games. all the games are really choppy. I want to get one that is relativly not too expensive and has tv out. around $100 is good. Also was wondering what factors besides video card play into the graphics and gameplay of games. I have 450mghz and 128megabytes of ram on my computer. Is it worth it to get a new video card? thanks for help.

I recommend the Hercules 3D prophet II. It's based on the nVidia geForce 2 chip. I have it and it works really well, you can get em for less than 100 easily. Getting a good video card is also good because it takes the the load of graphic processing off the cpu, so your 450Mhz can concentrate more on other things. I hear some of the Radeons are good too but I've never tried them.
