I got a new computer today (that now makes 8 total), but i have such a terrible headache i can hardly stand to play with it... strangly enough i will still post on apex when i have such a bad headache.

I'm on my work box - dual 550 Xeons, 512 MB. Pretty decent, except that it puts out enough heat to burn my leg if I get too close to it. Oh, and the sound card sucks.

at work I got a P3 1Ghz (yeah, only one) w/ 512Mb, and a 21" monitor... and I'm not even into web/graphics design.

Plus, my game system at work is a Athalon 1.2 w/ 256MB, same monitor (on a 4 port keyb/mouse/mon switch)

And my home system shall soon have 1 Gig of ram, especially since i found some 512Mb sticks for $42 each :D

Not bad, Nano. Why do you have a game system at work? And I can live with mine, considering I'm only an intern here. The actual developers get pretty hard-core machines, especially the guys that have to run multiple copies of WebLogic server. I'll wait until I actually get hired before I demand dual P3s or a nice Solaris box...

I got two computers at work too...

I have a 700Mhz Celeron to run this tiny little DOS program that is the only thing on the drive.

My other machine is a 200MMX that runs windows 95 and Office....

Damn do I want to swap the drives....
