e-mail masking!

hey, notice when you send those e-greeting card things, it shows that it sent from your e-mail addy, but it was actually send from the greeting card company's? how do they do that? and how might i do that?

well it is all in the from line and reply to line of the emil message, very easily done and can fool only newbies.... a quik look at the full header reveals where it was sent from. but if you are asking about anon. email or spoofing then i can't really help u there..

thats what it said. the xxxx was a friend's e-mail addy. the mail from from egreetings.com i think

Full header will tell you where it was sent, full header meaning the SMTP server and stuff
