Evoice was doing my voicemail at home, and I really liked their service. As a guy who lives in the office, having a RealAudio file sent to my e-mail was a godsend, as was the 800 number. I'd gladly pay what they're asking for, but they've just up and discontinued consumer service altogether.
Anyone hear or use anything similar? I really don't want to blow $10+ on the stupid phone company voicemail, and I absolutely hate answering machines.
Can this be solved with a voice modem or something? Some sort of program that'll answer my phone and send me a really low-bitrate MP3 of the message or something?
Help!
