who the fuck decided that morphine was not an appropriate treatment for poison ivy? i need something to make me completely loopy so i can't feel the itch.
also suckage: shaving your legs before you realize that you are covered in the shit. giving yourself a million tiny skin breaks is not the recommended course of action when covered in an evil plant extractive.
at least i dint wipe my ass with it. i hate the great outdoors. i am going to stay in my air conditioning and watch tv for the rest of the summer. then, when all the other kids are out making snowmen, i'm going to microwave some popcorn and watch some more goddamned tv.
mother nature is an unholy bitch.
Don't hold back - how do you really feel?

Benadryl helps, and has the added advantage of making you nice and dozey. Very good if you can just veg, sucks if you need to move around.
My personal favorite remedy is a shot of tequila, but to each his own. Good luck
(ow - you shaved your legs!? - owwww)

Buy 300 bottles of Calamyne lotion and take a bath in it ala Eric Cartman. That should do the trick. Also, I've heard oatmeal paste works pretty well too.

I love not being allergic to poison ivy. I can wallow in the stuff and be no worse off than rolling around in sunflowers. Not that I've had many opportunities to wallow in poison ivy lately (nor a huge desire to) . . . but when I was a kid, I was always in the stuff . . . whenever we were playing catch or something and the ball went into the poison ivy, I had to be the one to go fetch it.

You could make money off of that. throw shit in the ivy and ask some one to bet you to go and get it. :D

Yes, but that was only after the kids were throwing the ball AT you. It was only in the poison ivy because they missed.

mmm... uhhh... i have some of that... it has large warnings about DO NOT LET IT TOUCH YOUR SKIN!!!! so i'll pass. i'm sure it does clear up acne... most things that remove large chunks of skin tend to take the zits with them...
morphine would still be better than benadryl.

You know what's even funner than poison ivy alone.....running through the patch of nettles right next to the poison ivy before going through it. That way you get the insta-burn and itch from the nettles that, if you're lucky, will bother you just long enough for the poison ivy to kick in :splat:
