heheheh, like it's possible to avoid one. I noticed that there were 8 within 3 square blocks in the SF Financial District. If you're not paying close attention to where you're walking, you're liable to just stumble into one.

Well, you have to experience Pike Place Market. Ask anyone in the city how to get there and they'll be able to give you directions.
The Mariners are playing at home (Safeco Field) July 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th & 17th - I'm sure good tickets can still be had. July 16th is half price family night.
There is also the Seattle Art Museum. I haven't been there so I can't tell you if it's worth seeing.
If you have an interest in airplanes you can take a tour of Boeing, and there's a museum of flight also.
If you like shopping, I always visit IKEA when I'm in Seattle.
I don't live in Seattle, but as you can see... I've been there too many times.
Take in the Titanic Artifact exhibit ($15 - better order tix in advance from http://www.ticketweb.com/user/?region=wa&query=schedule&venue=psc - forget the IMAX movie - waste of time). Ride to the top of the Space Needle ($11), but only if it's sunny - the view is first-rate. Visit the Kalakala on a Saturday and see if Peter Bevis is there - it's on the north shore of Lake Union between Gasworks Park and the Ship Canal bridge. Go the the Chittenden Locks near Ballard. Walk around Fremont, it's really cool. See the Troll under the Aurora Bridge. Walk down Broadway on Capitol Hill if you like to people watch.

You have to eat at Ivar's. Best seafood in the world. Also it's fun to go to this amusement park called Wild Waves. It's a waterpark and it's about 10 minutes south of the airport. They have a lot of stuff to do there. Another fun place to go is the University Village in the U-District. It's about a mile North of Husky Stadium. EMP is a must, and you can't forget Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe on the waterfront. It's gotta be the coolest store in town. If you're into extreme stuff, try the pinnacle at REI... the wait is really long on it though. Anything I missed? Oh yeah, see a movie at the Cinerama, it's the coolest theater. Bellevue Square (sp?) is fun too. If you wanna play some kickass video games, go to Gameworks, or Wizards of the Coast in the U-District.

IKEA!? Why there? I'd have more fun at an Home Depot. Cheap, flimsy furniture and plastic household items. Their products aren't worth a damn. Try to save money you end up assembling everything, spend a little extra and break the bank. No thanks.

There is a tour you can take under the streets of Seattle, hence it is called the underground Seattle tour or something like that. That is supposed to be really neat, at least that is what I have heard from everyone who has gone on it. Anyway, I think you enter right by pioneer square, but I know you could ask any vendor at pikes place market on a saturday morning and they could tell you. BTW pike's place is cool if you have never been there. They also have that new music museum that blazers owner paul allen built. I think i remember the tikets being kinda spendy to get in too. Always a ferry ride you can take, and there are lot's of cool islands around there. Anyway, seattle is cool, hope you have a good time

Actually Luxykin007, tickets to EMP aren't that much. I think they are $10, I know for a fact that they aren't over $20.

Ivar's has really headed down the tubes lately. I'd say some pretty good seafood can be found at Salty's, although I couldn't tell you how to get there if my life depended on it. Look it up on Yahoo maps.
The above are all wonderful touristy things to do. If you were a little older, or had a litte something-something in your wallet, Queen Anne hill is where I usually hang out with my friends when I go up there.
