eh..i think g|a should be redesigned with a darker background...the light colors are certainly not helping my eyes at this time... heh gota take into consideration for the nocturnals here...

Yeah, maybe they should have a site that inverts its colors after 8pm and switches back around 6am.

How about a couple of mirror sites that used different schemes? One could be for the light intolerant and another could look like a word doc or some such so it wouldn't be noticed at work!

i see some of us don't have the screenshot of a spreadsheet as wallpaper....or a panic button to annihilate everything but work.

another good thing to do is use your lynx browser in linux. then if someone comes up you can say you're editing something. of course you could keep it on the 4th virtual console, then when someone comes up, you ctrl+f7 back into xwinders, and if they ask, you have some real work on your first console. you can even use real browsers using your multiple desktops. if they wanna check each one, you can accidentally kill x.

I've just got a twitchy left hand on the alt-tab combo. I've only got one non-work-related window open at a time, so whatever I switch to will look fine to the boss.

I agree with the lynx suggestion. I actually like to use the old lynx text browser, but all the good sites look scrambled.
