Greetings Apexers. I want to add a 60 GB HD to my system, P3 866, but I don't have any more IDE cables to hook it up to. Meaning I have two IDE cables coming from my motherboard, and I have both of them in use for both master and slave. What is the best way for me to get another HD in my system, without spending too much moola? Thanks!

You'll need an ATA IDE controller card. I might have one for sale soon. Not sure how much I would be asking for it. Oh, it's a Maxtor ATA 100 card. It will allow you to add up to 4 more IDE devices. :D

hmmmm... I wonder if the Maxtor ATA/100 card can be hacked into a raid card. I should have paid the extra $10 to get the EPoX 8K7A+, but I didn't, so now if I ever want to go in the path of the RAID, I'll need a card... hmmmmm... interesting, very interesting...
