You can get below $200 if you negotiate on the ViewSonic E771 17in 1280x1024 VS16in 27mm 15pin
Good luck and they are in stock and shipping immediately.

you can get a refurb 17" sony FD trinitron E200 on ubid for $200
How about Mitsubishi DiamondScan 70? It's about $210. I know it's a few dollars more than what you said, but good color monitors are worth every penny of it. Check this link out http://www.pagecomputer.com/cgi-bin/utsearch?cd=02&sku=MIT00024 and I am sure buy.com will match the price. I am not sure whether they'll let you use coupons with with pricematch.
I do not have the same monitor so I am not sure whether it is as nice as it sounds like on the spec.
I have a Mitsubishi DiamondPro 900u at home. The screen is stunning; 100% flat square trinitron and vibrant colors with sharp focus. Looks much better than any Sony or Viewsonic monitor.

Even better deal on the Mitsubishi if you negotiate the price at NexTag.com:

try your local circuit city. i got a 17' ibm display model for $130.
I am not sure getting a display model is a good idea, especially for monitors. Remember these monitors are turned on 24/7 in the stores, and the beam guns have a fixed life and degrade over time. I wouldn't even get a refurbished model for the same reason unless you get a like-new warranty from the manufacturer.

I just ordered a Viewsonic E771 from Onvia. Price was $199.98 with free shipping.
As far as I know, the $25 off $100 coupon is still valid (if you haven't used it yet) and if you go through Pointclick, you can get an additional 10% rebate. Check it out.

Since everyone is talking about the Viewsonic E771 you can get one from the mobshop for $184.95 with free shipping. Thats at the lowest level of course, but that monitor always goes down to that price. Just goto http://www.mobshop.com/cycles?cycle_id=274490 Not sure if there is any mobshop coupons out there right now, if so you can even get a better deal. I bought 3 and sold them when mobshop had the 20% off. Oh and I kept one for myself of course, It is a pretty good monitor.
