I just wanted to see how you guys think about what strategies to use for these two.
I'm making a martial arts assassin with minimal skills in the other tree (not the traps, but I forget the name). Should I try to max out claw mastery and just put one point in each of the martial arts until I max out claw mastery?
I'm trying to make a elemental druid. What do you think?

shadow disciplines, you're trying to avoid shadow disciplines...although i don't know why you would want to do that. Shadow and martial arts mixes well together. You mentioned wanting to put 20 points in claw mastery...which is a shadow discipline, and a single point in "burst of speed" can do a huge improvement, as can a single point in "weapon block". Venom does huge poison damage, and shadow warrior/master is an insanely powerful skill. Your choice, I guess, but if I were to ignore a skill tree, it would be the trap tree. It just doesn't combine too well (but I already have 4 points used in that tree because I have a +1 to all trap skills amulet and wanted the benefit until i reach lvl 26 with that character to use my +1 to all assassin skills amulet :-p) with the assassin's other options.
I personally don't like playing with a sorceress, so I think an elemental druid is a waste of time. I'm a were-druid, bear type...and it works wonders for me. Huge damage (still doesn't do much to nightmare unique monsters though; they all seem to have stone skin. This is the only time that elemental would help, but there are monsters that are completely immune to elements, so F*** that...) and almost 900 life can be a benefit.

I'm a lvl 67 Druid Werebear. For Druid the Elemental spells seems to be a waste of skills points to me. Does anyone here have any of the Aldue Set Items? Those things are so rare.

I haven't found any elite unique or set items yet. I have found 2 Milabrega's orbs and 2 of some set sword, but oh well... I also found 3 "the gnasher"s and 1 "hawkmail". Do you have any runes ort or above that you would consider trading away? Basically that just means runes that have over level 20 requirements. Thanks. Anyone have a really good maul or great maul?

ps - anyone else try crafted items or runewords yet? My assassin has a Nef-Tir full helm, and my Druid is carrying a hit power crafted ring and a blood crafted ring. Damn...I need better runes...especially Ko.

Thanks prominx.
I got one point in weapon block and one point in all the charge-ups and finishing moves (well, at least the ones that are available at level 22.) The rest I have in claw mastery.

right now my weapons deal about 120 damage a piece (a scissors katar and a claw), though I think about 10-15 of that comes from other damage (lightning, poison).

I have a nef-lum (smoke) armor and I've seen some elite items that I didn't recognize as being elite... mostly axes though. Lately I've been on a gem collecting trip...

diabloii.net (although i'm disappointed with their rune words section) and battle.net/diablo2x are the best.
enjoy.
