actually...i am in the final 10 (mostly in part to the beauty of an old program we have all used; who remembers ghost mouse?). they have a lot of stuff planned for us (and as part of that, i have carried their (really really nice) dv cam with me almost everywhere i have gone for the last week). The next stage involves yet another internet vote (hello ghostmouse...) once they put up our personal microsites (more pictures for all of you to ridicule). Let's just say that some of the snowboarding pictures that I submitted show my skill...using photoshop, and damn were my huge modifications smoothe. I moved myself higher and farther from the jump in two of the pictures (difficult because I was jumping and I was right at the break between a cloud and perfect blue sky, so it took a long time extending the cloud). I'll post the new link once they set it all up. Another of the next steps is a mock "Real World", where they move the 10 of us into a "mansion" in Newport Beach and tape everything we do. As a number of friends have commented on "your parents will see this...so DON'T hook up with either of those hot girls!!". Who knows what abuse they'll put us through when we get there.

yes...but last time, the guy with the most votes got 32000 votes...and i got somewhere around 7000 (you just have to love Ghost Mouse). That means that as soon as that link is posted, my computer will be there about 100 times a day...minimum. Let me just remind people in advance that you can vote once per day...and even more often once you delete cookies (one of the steps my ghostmouse did a few times a minute). Thanks everyone who voted.

ps - sorry mojo...but i am a very to-the-point guy. i don't sugarcoat things for my bosses or professors, so i rarely do it for friends or Got|Apex acquaintances.

by the way, if you havent bothered to notice, i am pretty to the point as well. i dont sugarcoat stuff. i guess it just plain starts out sugary. well, not always ;)

well...for example, today i e-mailed my professor and told her that she was basically unqualified to teach the class and was a horrible teacher. how's that for not sugar coating? and yes...I did sign with my real name. And for the record...we're only in the third week of class, so i get to deal with her for 5 more weeks.

pro, i had no idea this was a contest of not sugarcoating. if you want me to believe that you dont, then fine...i believe you. however, that is not unlike stuff i do in the real world on a day-to-day basis. the part that is unlike what i do is the whole subjective part about being "horrible." i prefer to prove things when i make such statements. what i do is use a person's job description and show the reasons why he or she is not proficient in his or her job....or something to that effect. if someone said to me that i am horrible at something, then i will just be like, "whatever, mr person who doesnt know what he is talking about." if i was a teacher, then of course anything presented by a student without substance would appear to be sour grapes to me.
