Anyone have this speaker system. Is it any good. Thinking about getting it.
I was looking into getting the transparent Harman Kardon Computer Speakers but they cost a grip $170.

The X after the model number is usually an indication that it is a refurb.

I Personally Own This Set Of Speakers And
Just Order A Pair Of Cambridge Soundworks DTT350's
To Replace Them Since My New SB Live Platinum 5.1
S/PDIF Was Only A 1/8mm Plug Not RCA As On The
Altecs. I Hooked Up The Cambridges And Sent Them
Packing, They Don't Compared To The Sound Of
The ADA880's - The Subwoofer Alone Hits HARD
And Produces Excellent Bass Response And Has
Great 5.1 Quality Sound. To Use This Set
With The 5.1 Cards If You Don't Have A DVD
Decoder With RCA S/PDIF Out Just Run Out To
Radio Shack Grab A Female To 1/8mm Mono RCA Adapter
Slap That Bad Boy Into The Digital Out And The Other
To The Line Out And Boom Ya Got 5.1 Decoding Since
The Crossover Accepts Digital & Analog 5.1 Source.

I looked for these speakers at pricewatch and the cheapest I found them was over $100...How did you find them for $43?

yes i would also like to kno where you found them for 43. and shadow. which one would you recommecnd seeing that you have both speakers.
WARNING! They are selling the ACS-54's refurbished. Look at the model number at the top. The description IS for the ADA880's, but that's just an error. The ACS-54's aren't too bad, but definitely not as great as the others.
This was just a caveat :)

i got a set of these speakers
havent hooked up the 5 speaker setup, so i have
the surround speakers plugged up on top of the main speakers.
i have them plugged into a spdif input(coax only)
and its works great on those dolby digital games
and the dvds work ok.
its kinda good because they have a 'fake' center speaker
in the surround mode.
ok set, but i rather get the thx set.
but at that price ill buy; it got a refirb model too.
but i got em for about 100$
