not that it will help any now.. cause it's already been posted....

but i want/need to know what you guys think..

the page is made to sell my dads 1996 NSX.. i took the pics myself... and edited them... i also made the entire web page from scratch.. took about 6 hours worth of work... with the photoshop bit and all....

this.. considering that the last time i touched HTML was back in like 97/98 ..!

so.. here is the link

http://home.socal.rr.com/stupidzbu/main.html

i already posted this where it needs to be posted (found alot of places other than ebay!) got 85 hits in one day.. and a bid for $40,000 already! my dad owes $38,000 .. so thats already $2,000 profit!

WOO HOO!

I don't tell them about accidents.. until they ask right?

cause i put as much damage that i could physically find.. up in pictures...

but i'm not sure about the damage bit.. cause... this is my dad's second NSX... he crashed one of them into a tree.. cost $30,000 worth of damage... they had to fly a guy in form japan to work on the aluminum alloy... heheh good ole $500 deductible saved his ass!

the thing is.. he doesn't know i'm selling it.. it's sort of a surprise when it gets sold.. he's hit a mid-life crisis... too little money to pay for bills.. all 3 kids in college.. all his friends have died in the last 5 years from cancer or other illnesses..... etc etc etc...

so.. he is bummed.. cuase he can't afford the car anymore... and was going to give it back to the dealership... so we talked.. and the idea came up to sell it.. but since his depression..... he doesn't want to do anything! heheheh

but thats' off topic

You might want to allow out-of-town bidders (most people on ebay do)

I bought my car in Houston and just paid one service to check out the vehicle (he found a few obvious problems that allowed me to bargain down the sales price, but in general the car was good). Also, I just got a delivery service to do door-to-door delivery and that worked out pretty good.

Otherwise, it seems ok

the problem with out of towners... is that my dad doesn't want to deal with them... he explicitly told me that if it wasn't pick up only, he wouldn't sell the car.. because he doesn't care enough to sell it...

the $7,000 profit he would be making could be made in a couple of days worth of good work.. if that at all.. so he has no incentive to accept out of state bids....

i tried to talk him into it (before he got into this depression state ) but he didn't want to go for it..

thats what you get for being an old stubborn man!

Good. You can make more but good enough to sell it.

ack.. blue on green, blue on green! ack! thfffppppttt!

hehe.. it's otherwise a good layout, but blue on green (your links at the top) is a bad idea. it makes my eyes go blurry :)

I think you should add a couple of things:

get one of those X-10 popup ads
place a picture of your pet on it
use the blink tag
add a really cheesy midi track to it
put a bunch of ads on the page that will never, ever be clicked on
add a guestbook for no reason
