CircuitCity (http://www.circuitcity.com) has STI 200-pack of 74min CDR's for $10 after $50 rebate. Its right on the frontpage and the rebates can be found above the item description.
(Ripped from Slickdeals.com)
These things are great!!! They're the only CDR's that my DVD player (not pc, standalone) will read VCD's on. I bough a bunch last time this was offered, (About a month ago). Does anyone know if I'm eligible to receive these rebates as well? They have a diff purchase period. I called CC, and they said I can get the $5 rebate, but for the $45, I coouldn't find a number to verify it.

JellyBelly, what are you talking about?
1. I can't seem to find the original post.
2. How are they sold out? I bough 3 this morning, and it's saying available now. Even if it was out online, you can order online and pick up at a local store, or just go to the local store and buy it.

It allows you to enter Zip Codes and check stock.
They come up as available in Yonkers & Cortlandt.

This morning the 14th Street Union Square is the only one that didn't have the CDR's. The 86th Street and anotehr store had them (I think Atlantic)

umm, you better fix this link....it shows your express pickup settings for Yonkers and Cortlandt
I bought some genric CDRs form CompUSA and they work well on the first 50, but the next 100 or so sucked and wouldn't burn....maybe it's my CDR, but I've burned only about 150 CDRs already....most CDRW drives reach 500 CDRs before they die out

Like I said in the original post, they're great. The only thing that my DVD player will read VCD's on. :-)
They are UGLY as anything I've ever seen. My buddy needed 100 CD-R's, and even though these were cheaper, I went with a different brand.
Why?
1) You can't write on them neatly. They've got their "STI blah blah blah" written all over the CD
2) Most of the time you'll burn something for friends, or family... etc., it's nice to have stuff you can write on neatly :)
For $5 you can get 50 Imation's at BB or 110 PNY's for $10. Both of those are 80 minutes as well.
It seems that playa knows the quality of them, and I'm not bashing that, I'm sure they work well, it's just that I know people do look for CDR's they can pass out.
CD Writers can burn out??

I just got home from picking up a box that I did through the express pickup. Yo why is the brand Digital Media instead of STI? Even the receipt says STI. Second question, where do I get the $50 rebate? I've got the $10 but not the $50. Third, where the hell are my spindles. THe box says it comes with 2 freakin spindles, all I got were two 100 cdr's wrapped in plastic. YO I don't feel too good about this.

It just dawned on me that this was originally posted in July. Yeah so no more $50 rebate right? That box is going straight back.

Charlie Brown is going to go postal one day and Lucy will be the first to eat a bullet. Mark my words. The abuse that the poor guy gets is just unfair for someone his age.
