I went to CompUSA and got the 12x TDK. When I got home I noticed that the picture in the ad shows a different cd tray than the one I purchased. I looked at the box and noticed on the tray of the drive it says 12/10/32A.

I think the one I got is not a rebadged Plextor but I'm not sure.

I was wondering if this is the same drive.

Also is "JustLink" the same as "Burn-Proof".
Do any of the 12/10/32 TDK burners have burn proof or is that just on TDK's 16x and higher models?

Some one please help, I am afraid to open the box. I don't want to pay a 15% restocking fee.

and I think any 12x/10x burner has some sort of burn-proof.....

Just Link is Ricoh's version of Burn proof. It works just as well, but that TDK is not a rebadged Plextor.

In your opinion do you think that Richo performs just as well as the rebadged "Plextor".
In other words should I try to hold on to the TDK I have and see if CompUSA gets any of the rebadged "Plextor" drives and exchande them?

Ricoh is an evil company that has horrible products! I have never seen one of their products that last longer than 30 days
