View Full Version : Is that bulge in your pants getting too big?
http://www.usatoday.com/life/cyber/wireless/2001-07-16-smart-pants.htm
Next month, Dockers is bringing out a new line of pleated casual slacks for men who, um, RAM too much stuff in their trousers. Tailored for guys on the go who crave gadgets, the new Dockers Mobile Pant sports "invisible" stowaway pockets that are meant to conceal the inevitable bulges caused by cell phones, Pocket PCs and pagers, not to mention keys, loose change and fat wallets

Is that a PDA in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

That is, and I'm serious here, a great idea. God knows by the time I stick my palm, my cell, my keys, money clip and card case in my pants, I either look like a pack mule or a goddamn pervert.
I'm sure these things won't sell well, but it's a great idea anyway. But who wants to wear khakis every day? :(

Very good idea.
I always thought modern men need to start carring purses (or purse like bags :P)
I guess, being young we can just bring a backpack/strapbag or hip packs everywhere and still look alright. Nowadays I guess it would be a laptop bag :)
I hate having all that stuff in my pockets but I can't help it, they all are importat. I guess they can ty and make a Credit card size PDA that can act as keys, creditcard, phone, etc.. then would be a bit better :)

Heck, they already know I'm a pervert.
The junk in my pocket just confirms it

This is why I wear cargo shorts all the time.

I usually wind up carrying enough stuff that I have to take my messenger bag (actually a record bag, but it's the same idea) wherever I go. I wear a lot of cargo pants, but I hate having things bang against my knees when I walk, so I don't usually use the extra pockets for anything besides flyers or receipts.

Damn... I thought it WAS for natural bulge. I was hoping to finally not have people stare at me all the time. :(

The company says you can unzip a pocket
to answer a ringing phone in 0.15 second.
Wow, that's useful info.

I carry a briefcase!
Out here in SF, carrying a briefcase makes me stand OUT from everybody else!

Heheh, seriously. Walk through the financial district and you'll probably see more people like me, with slacks, dress shirt, and record bag, than you will people with briefcases. :) In fact, you may actually see me, if you're walking through the financial district. And I look very much like me.

That's not very accurate. It's more like 0.146 seconds
