Does anyone know where to buy Thin Client?
What I mean by a thin client is a cheap @ss computer that runs app. over the internet.
So the PC should consist of MB. proccessor, ram, NIC, intergrate video, intergrate sound optional. No HD.
I searched all over. I did find one at Compaq but to expensive. I was hoping if you guys know of a different manufacture.

basically, your referring to something like a remote boot ROM. What are you planning to use the computer for? Specifically I mean.

To run apps from the main server using the internet as the gateway.

although i don't have any info on where you can get one, it's nice to see that somebody's considering them...

I know the popularity increased a couple of years ago, but it never really caught on....

Perhaps build yourself a cheapo one?

Try http://www.hitechcafe.com They have had PPC IBM thin clients that have been sold as cheap as 30 bux. They browse and run java etc. They can even be mounted on the wall.

Hope that helps.
