Heh.. one thing i actually LIKE about AOL - all deleted mail is kept for 24 hours!

That really fits the category! I would go absolutely Ape-**** if that happened to me (i store about 500 e-mails on my main account alone). Everything from a address book I have uploaded as an attachment so I can grab it from whatever computer I want to old love notes from my ex...

There is something to like about AOL? I thought it was all just a big pile of steaming...nevermind. Hotmail has that delayed delete function too...and Hotmail is free.

Nope, no love for me...

was checking personal email and lost all of that... wouldn't have minded losing work email. :)

I check personal email at work all week long, and then download it off the server when I'm home on the weekend. So I'd forgotten to do it for the last two weekends, and there were about 800+ messages on the server. I decided to weed out everything but the important stuff, but accidentally hit select all instead of deselect and it all went buh-bye....

I'm going to go wallow in sorrow by spending way too much money at the Comic-Con... :)

I backup my data. I just hadn't downloaded the email off the server to my home computer, which I do the backups from. :)
