Yea I just saw it. I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting myself into when I saw that it wasn't even directed by Spielberg this time. so thanks to my zero expectations, I wasn't too disappointed other than feeling a little sad about the money I spent to get in. However, if you can bear with a bad storyline and ridiculous stunts, then you could actually find some good thrills here. I think with this one they concentrated mostly on just the action. It's just non-stop fighting and running away from dinosaurs. So if you're into CG and have 8 bucks to waste, then give it a try. Warning: nothing new though... just lots and lots of the usual.

i wasn't too let down by most of the movie, except for the ending. that was just terrible.

plus the length.. a measly 90 minutes! bah

i still liked the first the best.

if the US gov't wouldn't send anyone to help the boy and his mom's lover...why would they send 2 battleships and a buttload or marines to save Dr Grant. The guy can't raise money for a dig to save his life...but the gov't will spend 50 times that to invade an "uninhabited" island? whatever...

and why didn't the lover let himself down from the parachute. they never really made that clear. oh well...it was humorous watching dinos go for pressure points and snapping necks intentionally.

Hey, I didn't have any problem with the movie. I wasn't disapointed at all. Of course, I didn't even go bother to see it. I knew it was going to suck.

you are correct:

"Nothing is said now that has not been said before."

Whenever my ex IMs me and pisses me off, I just say that and it pisses her off because she doesn't know what it means. I always toss in little ltain, german, or french (hey...shut up; i learned the language because i liked this girl who was taking french, so i joined) and it pissed her off because she would always have to ask for a translation...but she does admit to missing the foreign good nights.
