S: movies with simply horrible scripts...(example: Evolution)

have you guys seen this piece of....could you believe the lines that these actors were spitting out?? I can't believe these people agreed to make a movie with such a script. I guess they didn't have a chance to read it before they signed the contract...

a 6 year could write wittier and snappier lines.

I don't know, I liked the movie! :( lol Of course, I went with the man I am in love with, so I got to hold his hand and have his arm around my shoulders, so that may have SOME to do with it. :D

In a comedy bad lines can be funny. When you have the tallent to carry it off you can get away with just about anything.
If you want to see a much better example of bad writing, or a bad movie overall, go see Planet of the Apes. Or better yet, don't.

Though I still thought it was a good movie in some respects, I thought the script of Kiss of the Dragon was pretty bad too.

well at least Kiss of the Dragon had some good action, didn't it? That's forgivable I think. Also I can deal pretty well with "bad jokes." I mean if they were meant to be jokes and they're just not funny, I still laugh, cause I'm generally pretty easily humored. I was refering more to the remaining lines other than the apparent "jokes" in Evolution. They just seemed to have written the jokes first and then filled all the other time in with dry pointless banal conversation. Maybe I was just in a non-humorous mood that day, but it certainly was a painful experience.

Uh, thanks guys and gals, now I will not go and see any of those movies. Anyway, the most unimaginative lines I can remember is in Mortal Kombat. Here is a sampe:

Shang Shung: "You will die."
Liu Kang: "No, you will die!"

How long did it take them to come up with that one?
