I am going to be buying a new computer because I'm moving out (YAY!). The apt I'm going to already has DSL set up, but I don't know what things I will need in order to be able to connect. I want to make sure I get the right things when I buy my new comp.
A Modem and $49.95 each month :). There are several types of modems you can get, internet PCI modems, USB Modems or Ethernet based Modems. It all depends what modems your DSL ISP supports. So contact them and you'll be hooked up in no time :)

If you will be living with someone in the appt. who already has a DSL modem, consider getting a router to share the connection. This will also work if you want to share a single DSL connection between your old computer and your new computer. Just some info for ya.

Yes/No.
I've had installations that only had 'normal' two week waits, which is acceptable.
Recently, i requested installation after moving (June 21st) and they won't be able to install until September 3rd!
