I think this was one of my crappier birthdays. I saw so many people I knew today and I'm pretty sure they know when my birthday is, yet they did not acknowledge it. I'm getting screwed in this friendship thing. I give too much... and get it again in the rear. Okay... I'm not bitter.

happy bday......i get the same thing....worst was a few years back when my best friend and my GF forgot
But my best friend forgetting was worse (his bday is 4 days after mine) kinda hard for him to forget.

Hey, my parents forgot my birthday a couple of times. Now that sucks.
I learned that you should not expect people to remember things like that. I couldn't tell you my best friends birthday, heck I even forgot my birthday a couple of times.

NOBODY ever remembers my birthday, ever!
its like, just because its really close to christmas, it gives everyone the right to be totally flakey and say things like "isn't your birthday soon?" or, in january, i get the "oh my, i forgot about your birthday!!"
it isn't that big of a deal, really.

You can't really blame people for forgetting your birthday. I know it sucks when it's your significant other or parents, but it happens. People are pretty busy these days. If you're really sensitive about that stuff and it's really important to you, I think you should swollow your pride and just tell people that your birthday's coming up and while you're at it just tell them what you want for a present as well. It's sort of an ugly thing to do, but it prevents any hard/sad feelings. I think it's worth it. It works for me. Anyway, Happy belated birthday. ;)
