Bought a Compaq Presario in 96 or 97? Get money!

I have mentioned ClassAction before as a pretty cool site and you can get emails and other updates from them on Class Action suits, shareholder suits, product recalls and other cases that might interest you.
They put everything into easy to understand language and have all the links usefully arranged.

Although I have to check the specifics of when I bought mine, I just now, last week, replaced my compaq presario that I bought right around that time! What a hunk o junk that was... but for poor little me with no money and a need for the net it was all I could do. Maybe this will help defray my costs fot that new dell I just got.

Those problems mentioned in the suit happened to me too, I just dont have any documented proof because I never did anything about them. I guess that just goes to prove, the squeeky wheel, which wasnt me, gets the grease!
