I sold the guy an HP advancestack j2600a hub and a jazz drive, both worked just fine, the guy sends me an e-mail saying he is a computer specialist for some government thing, and he invited a tech from a neighboring department to help him test out the stuff, and none of it worked. Now he says he will leave me bad feedback if i don't give him the money back. WHy should i suffer if the guy is such an idiot and can't set up a jaz drive and a hub. He said they unpluged their hub and substituted mine and a lot of lights lit up (doesn't sound like a computer specialist to me), and nothing happened, as with the jazz drive he said they put a disk in and it failed to spin up. I had no such problems with these items, now this idiot will leave me bad feedback. These people make me mad, all i have for now is good feedback and this will be a first for me and i don't want it....
I just needed to vent

Well I mean...if a lot of lights lit up and nothing happened then there's clearly something wrong with the hub.
hahahaha
That sucks about the negative feedback though. :-(

Perhaps you will want to reference this person to:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/investigates.html#feedback
It says in part:
Feedback extortion - Demanding any action of a fellow user that he or she is not required to do, at the threat of leaving negative feedback. ("Even though it didn't reach reserve, sell it to me for my bid or..."; "Pay me $100.00 or I will..."; "Sell me all of the Dutch items or I will get all of my friends to...")
Safeharbor@ebay will deal with them if they are unreasonable (hopefully your return policy was explicit)

i mean seriously though the lights go on... good that's the first step, but i guess he doesn't know what to do afterwards. I mean i don't even know what to tell this guy, i mean if you don't know how to use something, don't buy it.

TLG you are a god amongst men :)
Thanks for the link i will definatelly use it if he tries to leave me neg. feedback. Oh and my return policy, well there is none, no warranties or anything, but i don't sell damaged stuff, and if i did i would definately put it in the description

my rating is 5 positives, now i know i know, mine is a low rating but frankly this is a new account because i used to use my dad's account before and i have 14 positives on that.

if the guy want's his money back, insist on getting the hardware back (you will have to pay for shipping). if he doesn't send the hardware back, then he doesn't get his money back.
