Hey, just be glad you aren't playing on Astroturf. That stuff'll take off seven layers of epidermis faster than you can say "beltsander".

yeah, i dunno what is worse... scars from playing in the street or itchy back syndrome. I vote for itchy back syndrome.

Don't play football on your roof.

Yeah, at least when you play in the street, the punch is delivered immediately; it doesn't sneak up on you afterwards.

No, but when I was back in Canada and playing field hockey (and one crack about me wearing a skirt, and someone's nose gets busted), we had this two-field water turf, which was a massive, massive improvement. You watered it for about an hour before a game, and you could slide all over the thing, on your face, and it wouldn't do too much damage at all. It was relatively springy too, so it preserved our knees and ankles, which were absolutely trashed after playing a few years on astroturf.

*whew* well....i've been on medication for my rash i got and it's basically all gone. i got this anti-itch pill too, that i took only once cuz it made me feel all drugged up. haha.. felt pretty good, but it was too much of a struggle to attempt to drive. lesson learned--next time i'm playing football in long pants and long sleeves!

Grass is best because dirt gives when you crash into it. Not like that "rug" that covers concrete. That's all astroturf is.
