Ok, so when i place my reciever too close to my moniter, my moniter goes all screwy from the reciever. i want to place my reciever near my moniter, but this interfearance makes it impossible.

I've been thinking about this problem, and realized that computer cases are sheilded (aren't they?). so if i put that between my moniter and my reciever, would it get rid of the evil invisible distortion rays?

Buy some sheet metal and encase your receiver in it. That should take care of the little buggers! :D

It should. Some times the interference can be picked up throught the cables though, so you might want to watch where the are running.
