This is just a warning to all the innocent moviegoers out there who are not reading the Entertainment Forum.
Planet of the Apes SUCKS! In a big time major way. I would be upset about seeing it even if I had got in for free. It was not worth my time.
It has all the ingredients to being a great movie, how could they have blown it? I don't know, but they did. Big time.

Ugh. Horrid movie. Did he really need to kiss the ape?

Here's Ari (the ape he kissed) without the movie makeup:

Oh yeah....that's the stuff.
I'm telling you, in the next movie, you will believe a human and a monkey can get jiggy wit it.

I havn't seen it yet, but it is hard to belive that Tim Burton has f***ed up. I am probably going to give it a chance anyway. I just won't have high expectations when I go in.

Just saw it today, terrible movie in my opinion. Oh, and another thing, I could've sworn that I saw a scene where there's the statue of liberty on the beach and the humans were walking around in the preview. But I don't recall seeing it in the movie, maybe they cut it out or maybe I really did fell asleep...

I didn't think it was that bad. I definatley think the origional was better, but there were some cool things about this movie. Some pretty boring and over-hyped parts as well...

Skip it. Catch it on DVD/Video or HBO. It shouldn't take long to get there. Don't encourage them to make bad movies by supporting them. Please.
