Doesn't seem like it really has any restrictions... other than that it's valid only for new Buy.com customers. Looks like a great coupon to use!

Doesn't seem to work. It says to click the button and the credit will appear in your shopping cart, and all I get is the message: "Your Shopping Basket is Empty. If you have tried to add an item to your basket and the basket is still empty, you may not have "cookies" enabled on your browser."
I have cookies enabled. I tried two browsers and neither worked. I don't remember ordering anything from buy.com before, so that shouldn't be a problem either.

Here's a great way to get about $1000 free.

1. Copy the following onto a piece of paper:
"This is a robbery. Put all your cash into this envelope and hand it to me"
2. Take the note and a large envelope into a bank
3. hand it to the teller
4. Once the envelope is full, RUN!!!
5. Forget you ever heard of me or Got|Apex

I can't get it to work either... somewhere on the coupon page they claim they have a new look and features, but I don't remember buy.com changing site design anytime recently.. maybe this was something they mistakenly posted too soon.

The coupon's link takes you to the basket, so that's why you were getting the "cookies" error. It's the same error you get if your basket is empty. If you put something in your basket and then click on the coupon, you won't get any error messages, but it just takes you to the basket, and doesn't add anything. This is definitely something to keep trying, though.

Looks like they took the link away for the $50 off from where it was listed under 'Weekend Specials'

This is what I got from buy.com, I guess it won't work.

Dear John,

Thank you for contacting us at buy.com, the internet superstore.

We are responding to your email regarding the $50 coupon for first time
customers.

We apologize for any confusion regarding application of the coupon that
was placed on our website recently. Due to a typographical error on our
website, this coupon was released without any restrictions or
requirements regarding the conditions of using this $50.00 off coupon.
It was originally intended for a promotional offer on a Nokia phone.

It is possibly due to this restriction that the coupon did not apply to
the order you were trying to place. We have since corrected this error,
and the coupon should now reflect it's proper restrictions.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have
caused and we appreciate your patience.

Please write again if you have any other questions or concerns.

We look forward to serving you in the near future!

Team buy.com

if the link above is still where the coupon is, they didn't change anything. still no specifics for anything other than in stock items.
