Well I guess $9 for an $80 phone is a good deal :) I'm still depressed that I couldn't find the 2410 at any Office Depot store.

Does anyone know the validity of this store? $30 is pretty cheap for this phone.

I read on another board that neither the 240 or 242 have headphone jacks :( , that would be nice but for $9 (I paid $8.95 shipping) it's a great deal if the rebate comes through without any problems (damn I hate rebates).

Yeah, there was spelling errors but people from AT have ordered and did receive their phone.

I thought it was a typo and I didn't expect to ever see the phone, but less than 24 hours after I ordered it, I received a factory fresh phone. I ordered white and the receipt said white but it came to me in black. The phone is adequate, far from the best that I have used and the range is not nearly as good as my other phone. For the price, it can't be beat since it really cost $9 for shipping after I get the rebate. I think I may get a 2nd phone, but this time I will get the model 242 and hope I can get a rebate for each phone.

I went to send in my rebate slip and noticed the purchase needed to be made by June 1, so I called Siemens (spoke to someone who was like pulling teeth to get any information) The women I spoke to said they didn't update the rebate slips and she is mailing me new ones with a purchase date of September 1. offer the rebate for the 240, 242 model. SUCKS!!!.

I think I will refuse the shipment and return and eat

If you guys look carefully on the rebate page, siemens posted two rebate forms for each model. One is already expired but the other one is good until September 29. I don't see how they would not accept these forms because they said it's good until September 29.

Call them, The expired coupon is posted on their website, but they will MAIL you a current coupon

Siemens mailed the rebate coupon to me.

Received my 242 a couple of weeks ago, phone has nice features, but only works out to the street (about 100 ft)
my old ATT phone would go down the block about 300 ft at least.

I can't see how they won't honour their rebates, I called Siemens and found them very dull to speak to, anyway they said they would send me the rebate forms. I ordered two more, I expect that I can send for a rebate for one of each model to my home and I got another for my mother. I like the phone I already received, it is not the best phone but not a bad phone either. I will check to download the links that call-in just posted.

I bought one 240 and two 242 and was charged $30 and $39 each for a total of $78 for the 2nd order (less the $30 rebates), plus a heftly shipping charge of $9 for my first order and $10 for the second order. BTW, So far I only received the 240 and it was a better phone than I expected and I don't agree with the poor reviews at Amazon.

Ordered August 2nd, received email today with confirmation and UPS tracking number. The unit is in the Raleigh hub now, due for delivery on the 10th. Lookin' forward to it... and will remember to charge for 12 hours first. :-)

I then bought two 242 and I will send in for one rebate to my home, this will be a total of two rebates to my address but in two different items. The third rebate will be sent to my mother. I may copy their receipt for that or maybe create a receipt with her name and info on. I think this will work with no problems, do you?

Although it's two different models, I'm not sure if they'll honor the rebates because technically you're requesting two of them. I guess I can have them send the rebate to my grandparents' house or something. Good luck with yours pd123.

Ordered the phone on the 5th, got the phone on the 10th. Charged over night. Decent sound quality, range is okay. Not horrible like many have described. Certainly wouldn't pay 100 bucks for it, but 18 bucks is a steal.

I found 240 phone at Lowes B&M for $39.99... and they had the rebate forms laying out by the phones. So anyone not interested in ordering from a yahoo store (you have to pay $9 for shipping so the price is about the same) can get it there.

Okay, I want to hear from you all, have you recieved your rebate. I got a card yesterday refusing my rebate, without any specific reason. They mention resubmission, but I already sent in the upc code, so what can I do? Did anyone else get the refusal card or is it just me?

I sent them, a printout of the order confirmation page since I didn't have any other receipt. I pulled off the upc off the box and stuck that on a seperate sheet of paper, and I printed a copy of the rebate form from Siemens website and filled that out. Every thing as it should have been done? What gives???

I got an email today from rebateshg.com w/ a tracking number for my siemens 242 rebate. I checked it out to see where my rebate stood and this is what I got:

Status: Processing Rebate
Status Detail: We have received all of your required information and documents. After your information is processed, we will process and mail your rebate reward. Thank you.

The language they use looks promising. Did anyone receive an email like this?
