Is ATA100 and ATA66 not compatible?
I notice the cables are slightly different, ATA100 cable has a gap in pins in the middle.. my current motherboard is really old, and takes regular ATA66 HDD for sure.. is ATA100 going to require a new HDD?

Is there such a thing as ATA33 ? how can I find out what type is running in my old computer?
