This is really more for teachers and such.
Also, it comes out of Tax money (since it is NASA) so don't order just to get something free.

You can get FREE satellite views of any address in MapQuest by going to:

http://www.globexplorer.com/

and that might meet your need even better.

In some of the photos, you can zoom in VERY far (like I could see the BBQ grill at my old office)

If we had access to a Keyhole, you could read the newspaper from that distance.

If you want to see some really cool aerial images check out http://www.multimap.com. They have a better resolution and more detailed zoom, than GlobeXtra. Of course there is a drawback ;) They only cover the UK...

Bummer. I got in too late. Hey... I *AM* A SCIENCE TEACHER! If someone could burn me a copy when they get theirs, I'll toss them some coin or offer to copy something of mine for them.
