Need Deal on Human sized fans

I thought about this topic for quite some time considering Apex's request, and clarity.

I am going away shortly... http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif ...I will return though, I will need fans that can keep my new enviornment cool, no airconditioning, any one have deals on hardware stores or walmar where I can get box fans and the like. I know thermal paste would be great, but I don't think the people I am around would like me too much...

i'd go with the thermal paste idea. maybe stick some case fans on you in random spots. would you rather have friends or be hot? http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I tried the thermal paste. It doesn't work as well as you might think.

if you wrapped yourself in aluminum foil, the thermal paste would be a great idea!! or why not try a peltier cooler?? even better!!! haha. hmm, i wonder how a peltier would handle schwetty balls? hehe http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/wink.gif

...but in all seriousness, i picked up a 5-blade ceiling fan at Home Depot. It is not that hard to install and it keeps me nice and cool. Also, i brought an unwanted air conditioner back from my parent's house this weekend - which will make me even cooler http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/cool.gif so, if you can find a free AC unit like i did, that's the best way to go!!!

Thank you for all the great ideas, abatardi, give me a call so you can get my suit ready... Honestly, I went to Lowes, Home Depot, and Wally World and found neat stuff, but if I can save a buck on ram and the like, I would love to save on a fan or two, Ceiling fans won't quite work in this situation, I will be in a cabin A-Frame- that can't be modified... Please let me know of any coupons to places like that, looking for 12-24 inch and box fans, thanks guys for all the suggestions!
