Something you don't see too often nowadays...

okie.. check this..
taking this deal from MrX..
get urself the SoundBlaster Live! 5.1+mp3..
comes to 99.99.. add somethin cheap.. i added a paperclip dispenser.. now its over 100.. use the code and knock it down to 70.. once u get ur Confirmation letter through email, hit the reply button and request a price match with COMPUSA's card.. goin for 79.99.. include everything u possibly can about COMPUSA.. like its store hours.. its tel #... where its located.. web address if applicable..shipping prices. blah blah..
you should now get $20.00 credited to ur CC..
now go do ur $50 off rebate from Creative located at http://www.Staples.com.. (http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=573112&siteid=20241874&bfpage=c1_468x60)
ur total after all is said and done will be a mere 3 dollars or so..
god i hope it works.. cause i just did it.. if it doesnt.. then im still gettin the card for 20... still a good deal.. u only have a few days left.. offer expires 8/4 so if u've waited this long to get on the soundblaster band wagon like i have, do it now..
oh oh.. Thanx to Rally1 from Anandtech for this.. but u can also pricematch another way.. if its during office hours, right before u hit the submit button, Click on "Live Support"..."and give the rep the price matching information. Follow the instructions sent by the rep to complete the order with the match."
and also from Rally1, another method is to :
"Call and place your order. Give the rep the staples stock number, the competitor's information and mention any special shipping offers, then your coupon code."
also.. shipping is free for this card.. forgot to mention that...

I called staples rep and he told me we couldn't price match compusa.com because after the rebate, the soundcard would be $49.99, much cheaper than $79.99. Sounds like "baloney" to me....
Just my 2 cents....

I tried getting a HP DeskJet 648C Color Printer (that has a 30 MIR from HP) for 99.95 and a 1.49 pen price matching with some place I found on price grabber that was selling it for 65.00 -- But they told me since that price match would bring my total purchase below 100.00 they would have to take off the coupon code. I called back another CSR and got the same brick wall!!! Jerks!!!!!! Why can't they just let me get me a 5.00 printer!!!!!!!
I think I will try to find something else for 30.00 that has a 30.00 MIR -- Any suggestions???

both McAfee Virusscan ($20) and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000($20) both have full rebates. McAfee has the rebate on the Staples site while the MS rebate comes in the box. Try that. While you're at it, throw in the 9.95 Hasbro game (Battleship I think) and use coupon code 81030 and get that for free too. I just used both coupon codes on another purchase tonight without any problems. Good luck.

Those CSR are really cracking down!!!!!! I finally got an order together and then when I called to price match - Theywould only price match including NEXT DAY SHIPPING charges - 50.00 most sites!!!!!! They claim their stuff will be here tomorrow, I asked what would happen if I ordered on a Sat and he said it would be delivered the NEXT BUSINESS DAY so he would have to charge for that! Man they are really covered on that one!-, who could touch their prices with 50.00 overnight shipping charges tacked on!
